You mentioned that it’s disrespectful to not play KIngery at a single position. I think that’s just part of today’s game. Cody Bellinger is an MVP candidate and he played all over the field as well. Bellinger started 102 games in RF, 28 games at 1B and 21 games in CF. I’d be fine with Kingery being a flexible player for another year or two who can move around, play almost every day but do it at a few different positions throughout the year.

One example, and not a very good one. Bellinger began the season as the Dodgers first baseman. Then they decided he was going to right field and not coming back to first. Then circumstances led them to bounce him back at times later in the year. As your breakdown shows, He played 130 games in the outfield and just 28 scattered at first base. He is now an outfielder who might occasionally play 1B in the future based on their needs. Won a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger as an outfielder.
